CUB SCOUT PACK 1025

The church has chartered Pack 1025 of the Boy Scouts of America to host Cub Scouts since 1978. The Cub Scouts meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. The Cub Scout Committee meets once a month on Tuesday evenings. Call the church office for more information.

FOOD PANTRY

In conjunction with Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP), the church hosts the monthly Food Pantry on the third Tuesday of each month, with food distribution from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Residents of Shelocta Boro and Armstrong Township are welcome to visit the Food Pantry to supplement their food supplies during times of challenge. Income guidelines apply. For more information, call ICCAP or visit the Food Pantry on its next distribution date.

PRESBYTERIAN MEN

The Presbyterian Men group meets at 8 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. Breakfast, a Bible devotional, a business meeting, and fellowship are part of each month’s agenda. An offering is collected to pay for the breakfast supplies and to contribute toward the crisis fund. The Presbyterian Men support many of the building projects around the church, repairs of facilities at Camp Lambec (Erie), and other projects as approved by the group.

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN

The Presbyterian Women group meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. A Bible devotion and a business meeting are part of each month’s agenda. An offering of the Least Coin is collected, as are offerings for the Hunger Fund, and a regular collection. The Presbyterian Women provide support to many projects of hospitality and compassion including preparing funeral dinners for families of the church.
