The Reverend Kathy Nice graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2012 after a career in PA state government. Kathy was baptized as an infant in a Presbyterian church not far from Shelocta, and has been involved in the Presbyterian church most of her life. She was ordained shortly after graduation from seminary; this is her second church call.

Kathy is also the Stated Clerk of the Kiskiminetas Presbytery. Her passion is seeing people grasp tough concepts, and so watching people begin to understand just how much God wants to be in relationship with them, and how much God has been loving on them all their lives, brings great joy!

Kathy uses the Prepare-Enrich program of marriage preparation curriculum when working with her soon-to-be married couples. She loves working with the Vacation Bible School program, helping scouts with Religious Awards, and singing in the chancel choir.

She and her husband, Chris, have two dogs and two cats at home. Her grown step-children live about an hour away, so she gets to see her grandchildren as time permits.
